Established in 2014, The Gentlemen Baristas set out to reinvent and revitalise the traditional London Coffee House.
Despite its relative youth, their coffee house has developed in to a place where people from all over London, from all walks of life, come to meet.
Since 1698, when the London coffee house cemented itself as the quintessential melting pot of political, philosophical and creative debate, independent businesses have competed to serve the best cup of ‘syrup of soot and essence of old shoes’. While this particular taste may no longer live up to current 21st century palettes, the vibrant social aspect of coffee houses of old has remained.
The Gentlemen Baristas endeavour to serve the best coffee, the best food and perhaps most importantly, the best service they can. They call it “well-mannered coffee”.
