Where to Stay

Premier Inn London Southwark

The Southwark Premier Inn currently holds a ‘Platinum Status’ award in Guest Recommendation as voted for by guests in 2006/07. You will find the staff both informative and extremely helpful with no effort spared to ensure that you enjoy your stay. Adjacent to the hotel is the Anchor Pub with beautiful views over the River Thames and London.

It was from here that Samuel Pepys witnessed the destruction of the Great Fire of London in 1666. He later described the dreadful heat and the ‘fire drops’ falling on him whilst on a boat on the river. He sought refuse in a ‘little alehouse’ on the Southbank and from there he watched the fire grow.

Situated 5 minutes from London Bridge Station the hotel is within walking distance to all tourist attractions in the area including: Tate Modern, Shakespeare’s Globe, Borough Market, Southwark Cathedral, the Clink Prison Museum, Vinopolis Wine Tasting Attraction, The Tower of London, Tower Bridge, London Dungeons, Millennium Bridge, St Pauls Cathedral, The London Eye, Houses of Parliament and Big Ben.
